Jenny and I are still preparing for the wedding. This weekend we began constructing our playlist for the dance portion of the reception, and the separate list for background music. We are still looking at rings, and talking about clothes, but we mostly know what we are going to do on both fronts.
Still on the list? Dances to learn, ceremony to plan, vows to write, menu to plan, and we are still waiting for R.S.V.P. cards to be mailed in. Without a list of people’s allergies, we can’t write the menu, because I will not be to blame if someone dies at my wedding because there was fennel in the sausage.
There’s still some work to do, but it won’t take a lot of time, or effort even, because we both know each other so well, and we both know what we want (mostly).
