We’ve reached that point in the cycle: Jenny is studying me, which means my behavior is quantifiably different. I’m officially having a manic period rather than manic episode.
What does this mean for us this time? The last two times I had a distinct manic period, I ended up in the hospital. During each of those periods, however, I was not being treated for my paranoia or anxiety. We are hoping that my new routines will make all the difference.
On a related note, we woke up at 3:45 this morning to go to McDonalds for a grand opening. Yes, this is in part because I’m manic. But you can also blame McDonalds for having delicious food, and giving away free Big Macs for a year to their first 100 customers.
Jenny has officially reminded me that I’m not to touch the money, or make any significant choices about money. It’s for the best, considering I spent $5000 in one weekend. Three times. So, for now, Jenny is my beautiful walking wallet. Don’t tell her I said that though, or she won’t cook me lunch!
